Tamar Care Services Southwest Ltd
Some of our clients can feel lonely and isolated, which in turn can lead to depression, lack of motivation and generally a negative outlook on life. So we purchased our own minibus in 2019 and now offer outings and day trips
We offer regular trips and outings for our clients, always priced at a not-for-profit basis; we only make a small charge to cover our costs but we can provide a door-to-door service, fresh air, a change of scenery and guaranteed good company
Our driver is fully licensed and insured. There will always be a qualified and experienced support worker in attendance to offer any assistance and we carry refreshments, fleecy blankets, music and emergency supplies/first aid kit.
**Please note, COVID-19 means we are temporarily suspending all outings to ensure the safety of our clients and our staff. Outings will resume when it is safe for us to do so**

We took several of our clients to the Plymouth Christmas Market and Lights so they pickup some unique gifts for friends and family, enjoy a sweet treat or a mulled wine from the Bavarian Bar, or snap a festive selfie in front of the giant illuminated bauble
We took several of our clients to Endsleigh Garden Centre, providing them with the opportunity to enjoy a mug of tea with a slice of cake in the cafe, as well as the chance to pick-up some new plants or vegetables for their gardens
We took several of our clients to the picturesque village of Widdecombe-in-the-Moor, famous for it's unusually large church with its 120-foot spire, two cafes and numerous gift shops; the Toby jugs are a favourite among visitors!
